While people have wrongly described themselves as ‘not creative’ or ‘not visual’ for far too long, it’s time to call for a redefinition of ‘creative.’ Time to make the line between ‘analytical’ and ‘creative’ a dotted one.
Thanks for a great post!

]]>I’ve seen that about writers too – the majority of writing is basically bum in seat – even if sometimes that means staring at a blank screen (or piece of paper in the olden typewriter days).
Starting meditation again has made me really conscious of how much of a construct time really is. 10 minutes of sitting still is a loooong period of time when all your brain wants to do is rabbit on and distract you with a million things. Mindfulness helps tap into that time-subjectivity in a good way.
I read a book recently called Time Warped by Claudia Hammond. It’s all about how we perceive and experience time, looking at why it seems to speed up as we get older, and some ideas on how to regain control of that process. Well worth a read (I thought so anyway!)
Thanks for stopping by 🙂
